I am super excited about this post!! I started manifesting in December and my life has changed for the better. Manifesting is still new to me, so I’ve created a 20 day manifesting challenge that I could do with my readers.
I felt overwhelmed with information when I started researching the Law of Attraction as there is so much information out there. I’ve created a 20-day manifesting challenge of all the things that have worked for me.
20 day manifesting challenge calendar
Manifesting helped me grow and ask for what I want I actually want. I am more confident in myself because I know what I want, and how I want to get it. You can do this too, start by taking part in my manifesting challenge.
Day 1 – Start a thought dump diary
What is thought dumping?
Take ten to fifteen minutes to write out everything in your head. Imagine you’re spilling all your thoughts onto the paper. Once they are out of your head and onto the paper, you’re supposed to let them go, like they have been removed from your head.
I find this really effective for manifesting as I suffer from intrusive thoughts and to get them out of my head, a thought dump does the job.
Day 2- Declutter your space
Time to have a mini spring clean. This doesn’t have to just be a section in your house, it can also be cleaning out your computer, work files or a drawer in your house.
I’ve been excited about this one because I am moving in a few weeks and I have a ton of old letters and bank statements to go through.
Day 3 – Create a safe space
Creating a safe space for manifesting is important because you want to be in a space where you feel comfortable and relaxed. I like to sit in the middle of my bed because I find it an effective spot for clearing my head.
Create a space that you’re going to manifest in for the rest of this 20 day manifesting challenge.
Day 4 – Create a new goal
Write it out your brand new goal. Let’s get specific. List exactly what you want.
If you would like more money, don’t just write, I would like more money. Write out exactly how much you want, where you want it to come from, you would like £1000 from your job or maybe your small business to blow up.
Write out the goal a few times on a bit of paper and open your mind to seeing signs that your manifestation is coming true.
Day 5 – 3-6-9 technique
This can be a lengthy process but I promise it’s worth it. Using the goal that you created yesterday, let’s start.
The morning: Start by either writing out your goal or speaking it out loud. Do this three times in the morning
Afternoon: Repeat the process but six times.
Night: You guessed it, repeat but nine times.
This is a great manifestation technique as you’re thinking about your goal throughout the whole day.
Day 6 – Create an action plan for your new goal
Knowing what you want is great, but figuring out how you’re going to get it can be the tricky part. Of course, manifesting will open doors, but it’s you that has to walk through them.
A problem people have with manifesting is that they ask the universe for something and wonder why they haven’t instantly received it. You have to be open to the possibilities and follow the path that feels right.
Write out all the steps required to achieve your goal along with time scales that you would like to meet. You can use a goal planner to keep track.
Day 7 – Write out 5 things you’re grateful for
I cannot stress enough how important it is to be grateful for what you already have. Taking a few minutes out of your day to write out what you feel grateful for helps boost a positive mindset.
Keep it simple, think of things you are specifically grateful for from that day.
- I am grateful for having no meetings at work today, I was able to get my other work done.
- I am grateful for feeling well-rested.
Things like that!

Day 8 – Discover 3 negative habits you want to change
I believe everyone can improve, no one is perfect. Take a look at yourself and the habits you have in your life.
What would you like to change?
My three habits are:
- Picking the skin from around my fingers nails. They bleed and it’s very annoying.
- Procrastinating… I really struggle with this one and would love to work on it more.
- Not letting my anxiety make decisions for me.
Realising negative things about ourselves might not sound like the happiest task, but you’ll benefit in the long run.
Day 9 – Write out a game plan for changing your negative habits
Your negative habits are not going to change on their own. Let’s get working on a game plan. I’ve listed an example of one of mine.
Example: Picking the skin off my nails
What should I do when I notice myself doing the negative habit?: Take myself away from the current situation as I mainly pick my fingers when I am anxious.
Also, I try placing my hands on my lap, separately, when I am not using them, to remind myself not to pick my fingers.
Be realistic with time scales and how long it will take to break a bad habit.
Day 10 – Write a letter to the universe
I’ve mentioned this in previous posts, but I love writing a letter to the universe. Take this time to get specific. Think about everything you want in life, doesn’t matter how ridiculous it may seem, anything is possible.
I always start my letter off with things I am grateful for in my life at the current moment. Another tip I use, I write in the present tense.
Example: I want to reach 10k monthly readers on my blog.
Dear universe, I am grateful for (name 3 things you are grateful for in your life) I am also excited and proud that I am getting 10k page views on my blog. It’s something I’ve worked hard on and it’s finally paid off.
You want to write as if you already have everything you’ve ever dreamed of. Get into that mindset!!!
Day 11 – Discover angel numbers
I am pretty new to angel numbers, but after I kept seeing the same set of numbers, I had to look into what it meant.
The number sequence I was constantly seeing was 1111. It was popping up in every aspect of my life. When I was working, out a walk, on my phone. It was getting crazy.
I reached out on Twitter to see if anyone could explain it and I was lucky enough for a girl to message me privately.
If you are seeing 1111, your manifestations are coming to life. It’s basically a sign to show that where you are in your current life is because of your thoughts and feelings. What you are feeling is coming to life.
This made so much sense! I had been manifesting a number of things every day and they really were coming true. It was an amazing sign from the universe and made me smile every time I saw the sequence.
Keep your eyes and mind open for angel numbers as the universe could be trying to tell you something!
Day 12 – Create a vision board of your goals
Trying to visualise a goal in your head can be difficult if it seems so far away. Try using pictures and create a vision board.
My current vision board is my laptop background and I love it. I am reminded of all the rewards I am going to have.
You can either create a paper vision board or you can create a digital version. I love Canva.
Day 13 – Revise your goal action plan
As you’ve been working on your goals for a week now, let’s look over the last week and reflect on what has worked and what needs to change.
The changes don’t need to be drastic, I noticed after a week that if I painted my fingernails, I was less likely to pick them. I then added this to my action plan.
As you pick up more tips and good habits, add them to your goal action plan.
Day 14 – Meditate and clear your mind
Mediation is a powerful tool and something I would recommend doing on a weekly basis at least. I see a lot of people talking about how they are unable to meditate and clear their head, that’s why they don’t do it.
I want to scream, THAT’S THE WHOLE POINT!!
Meditating isn’t easy, in fact, it’s pretty damn hard. If you suffer from intrusive thoughts, you know that unwanted thoughts are constantly popping into the mix. The point of meditating is training your brain to let go of those thoughts and push them back out of your mind.
I find it to be a really effective method as it allows some one on one time with my mind.
Start with meditating for two to three minutes and the more you do it, the longer you should aim to do it.
Day 15 – Give love back
It’s important to give some love back to the people who are there for you and show appreciation. It can be as simple as spending time with a person when they need you or even giving someone space because that is what they love.
Simple ideas for giving love back:
- Buying their favourite chocolate
- A hug
- Spending time together
- Working on a project together
- Giving them space to do their own thing
Day 16 – Start reading The Secret
If you’re not a big reader, you do have other options so please don’t skip this one. You can also listen to the book on Audible and watch the Netflix version.
The Secret is the book that got me into manifesting in the first place. It explains how to manifest, the best practices and a lot of success stories.
I love that it has real people talk about how manifesting changed their lives.
Of course, you’re not going to read the book in a day but make a start.
Day 17 – Create 5 manifesting affirmations
I love affirmations. They provide confidence, positive energy and create a better outlook on life.
If you’re stuck creating your own, you can sign up for my 8 free affirmation cards. Another great tool for affirmations is Pinterest. Something as simple as manifesting affirmations and you’ll have a bunch of examples pop up.
You can either write these out or say them aloud, whatever works best for you.
Day 18 – Spread your energy throughout your life
Now that we are on day 18, I hope you’ve built up a lot of positive energy from manifesting. Time to spread it throughout your life.
Using that productive and positive energy, start using it in other aspects of your life. Start challenging yourself and getting out of your comfort zone.
You got this!
Day 19 – Open your mind to receive what you’re manifesting
You can work all day every day on manifesting, but if you don’t keep your mind and eyes open to see signs from the universe, what is the point?
If you feel an urge to go to a certain place, GO. If you feel like you should take up a new adventure or if someone mentions something that triggers your manifestation, these are signs.
The universe will do its job, but you have to be open to it.
Day 20 – Reflect on the last 20 days
If you’ve followed along with me over the last 20 days, you’ll have changed your routine and life for the better. Take the time to reflect on what you have achieved. You should be proud for facing your bad habits, setting new goals and working on yourself.
Also, reflect if you notice a change in your life, what’s happened? Has your manifestation started to come true?
20 day manifesting challenge
I hope you’ve enjoyed following my 20 day manifesting challenge. Manifesting is still new to me, but in the short space of time that I have been practicing manifestation, my life has changed… A LOT.
What are some goals you are manifesting over the next 20 days?
